Oriental carpets usually require a special cleaning process
They are most often made from wool, and are not always colour fast. Because of the extended time required to clean Oriental Rugs correctly and because it is difficult to clean Oriental carpets on location, we prefer to take these back to our premises to be properly cleaned. If there is fringe involved, it needs to be cleaned by hand after the body of the carpet is cleaned.
For our insurance purposes, we will always ask you to tell us the replacement value of these items, as you will be aware some Oriental rugs can be very valuable items.
We can also apply Protector to your oriental rugs to help to prevent further staining from spots and spills.
